Teaming up with Red Dust, who have been working in this space for over 15 years with the aim to reduce chronic disease by focusing on nutrition, hygiene, substance misuse and physical activity, MPC Group want to raise money to support Red Dusts on going efforts in under privileged remote indigenious communities. A group of people from MPC’s projects have come together to cycle from Brisbane to Birdsville, a distance of 1,600km, and we need your support to get there and Break The Cycle.
Team MACA18 returns for its seventh year in the MACA Ride to Conquer Cancer supporting the Harry Perkins Institute of Medical Research. The two day, 200km cycle through the countryside to Mandurah for the overnight camp and back along the coast, whilst challenging is very do-able and one of the most rewarding journeys you can make.
The Black Cockatoo Preservation Society is a not-for-profit, independent conservation organisation working to conserve black cockatoos through the rehabilitation, revegetation, education, and research. The Society was incorporated in 2006 by Founding Member, Glenn Dewhurst, and relocated to the current Kaarakin site in 2008, when demand for the Society’s services outgrew Glenn’s home.
The Bunbury Mens’ Shed is designed to provide a place for social interaction; a place where members feel comfortable about talking about the matters of common interest – it might be men’s health issues, retirement, travel, projects they wish to complete. It is a place that offers new friendships and a variety of knowledge and experiences. You do not need to have a hankering to undertake projects to join us. Many sheds around Australia have members who are more interested in participating in a general sense rather than learning any new skill.

The cornerstone program of RMHC, the Ronald McDonald House, provides a ‘home away from home’ for families of seriously ill children being treated at nearby hospitals. While they can´t say “no” to taking their medicine or receiving treatment, they can request their favourite songs, win prizes and hear their own voices on the radio. Those activities give youngsters a haven of normality in the hospital day which in other respects is strange, different and often scary
