We are currently seeking a full-time Detailer of Heavy-Duty Equipment to join our Canning Vale branch. Reporting directly to the Service Manager, you will be responsible for the cleaning and detailing of our access equipment.

Please note: This is a hands-on detailing role. Applicants should have a genuine interest in the position as advertised.

Main responsibilities include:

  • Thoroughly clean heavy machinery using high-pressure washers to ensure optimal presentation and performance

  • Detail machine interiors to a high standard

  • Receive and dispatch machinery promptly, ensuring all units meet quality and operational standards

  • Assist tradesmen with basic tasks and preparation to support maintenance, repair, or inspection activities

  • Maintain a clean, organised, and hazard-free wash pad at all times

  • Adhere strictly to company safety policies and safe work procedures

  • Wear and correctly use appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) at all times

  • Conduct and document weekly wash pad inspections

  • Complete daily pre-start checks on machinery and equipment

  • Promptly report any faults, damage, or potential hazards to your supervisor or leading hand

Requirements:

  • Current Driver’s Licence

  • Flexibility to occasionally work weekends or varied hours

  • Previous detailing experience (preferred but not essential)

  • Previous experience working around heavy-duty equipment (preferred but not essential)

  • Current HRWL LF required; HRWL WP advantageous

  • Understanding of OH&S regulations

  • Ability to pass a medical, including Drug & Alcohol testing

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment

  • Strong attention to detail

  • Ability to work autonomously

  • Physically fit and able to lift heavy objects
