We are looking for an experienced and proactive HSEQ Advisor to join the Brooks Group. This is a full-time, permanent role working 38 hours per week, Monday to Friday.
Key Responsibilities

Assist in maintaining and continuously improving HSEQ systems and procedures.

Review and update policies, procedures, and SOPs for safety, quality, and environmental management.

Drive the implementation and application of HSEQ systems across the organisation.

Conduct regular workplace inspections and audits.

Provide specialist advice and recommendations on HSEQ matters to internal teams.

Collate and provide HSEQ data and documentation to relevant departments.

Record, report, and investigate hazards and incidents across the business.

Lead incident investigations and follow through with recommended corrective actions.

Monitor the completion of corrective actions and assist as required.

Maintain compliance with legislative and company HSEQ standards across all areas.

Ensure HSEQ records are up to date for employees and internal assets.

Support internal maintenance processes including inspections and test & tag procedures.
Requirements

Formal qualifications in Occupational Health & Safety (e.g., Cert IV, Diploma).

Demonstrated experience in a HSEQ advisory role.

Strong working knowledge of WHS legislation and Australian Standards.

Understanding of HSEQ management systems and ISO standards (14001, 45001, 9001).

Investigation training (e.g., ICAM, Root Cause Analysis).

Strong problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.

Current driver's licence.

Previous experience working with mobile plant (desirable).

Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (desirable).

Internal Auditor Training (desirable).

First Aid Certificate (desirable).

Willingness to travel occasionally (local and interstate).
