The Role
We are seeking an experienced MC Driver to join our team, based out of our Gladstone branch. This is a full-time position.
Please note: Machinery operators should only apply if they have heavy haulage experience and hold a HC class driver's license.
Key Responsibilities:

Transport oversized loads to customer sites.

Conduct thorough pre-start checks before transportation.
-
Ensure loads are securely fastened before and during transit.

Adhere to safety standards, ensuring the safety of yourself and others.

Perform maintenance on trucks and equipment as needed.

Provide excellent customer service with a proactive and team-oriented approach.

Load and unload equipment independently.

Perform local deliveries, primarily driving on highways and interstate routes.
Essential Criteria:

Must have a MC Driver’s License.

Holding a valid MSIC is highly regarded.

Machinery operation tickets are desirable
-
Forklift License preferred.

Strong knowledge and practice of OH&S standards.

Experience with long-distance trips.

Heavy haulage experience required.
-
Experience with quad and dolly trailers preferred.

Capable of performing routine maintenance on vehicles and equipment.

Minimum of 2 years' experience transporting oversized loads.

Ability to pass a medical exam, including drug and alcohol screening.
