Ifor Williams Flat Bed Plant Trailer
These Plant Trailers are designed specifically for transporting plant machinery. We offer three distinct types of plant trailer; The GP Range, and GX & GH Ranges.
The GP series trailers, widely regarded as the toughest plant trailers in the industry, have an open rectangular steel framework, integral with chassis. The GP range offers an option of 16” wheels, providing maximum off-road capability. All Ifor Williams plant trailer models are fitted with integrated ramp or skid supports, ensuring trailers are supported whilst being loaded without the need to deploy prop stands.
GP Trailers can be ordered with either low sides or high sides. The axles on the low sided trailers are rear-set axles, and are particularly suitable for carrying excavators. Low sided models are offered with either open or closed sides and have a bucket rest fitted as standard. High sided models come with filled in sides, an optional bucket rest and axles which are more centrally positioned. This option is ideally suited to users who require flexible usage from their trailer; a reliable plant trailer providing higher sides for use as a general duty trailer.

Standard Features
Chassis
The underside of the trailer features a galvanized steel chassis and drawbar, for long-lasting corrosion protection.
Floor
Phenol-coated on both sides, our ply platform floors feature an embossed grip pattern on the upper surface.
Beam axle & leaf spring suspension
The Ifor Williams beam axle system increases stability and reliability whilst ensuring minimum maintenance.
Spare wheel
A mounting bracket and spare wheel are fitted as standard on most models.
Coupling head
The lockable low-profile coupling head ensures optimum clearance of 4x4 rear doors.
Hinged Loading skids
Fitted to the GP and GX models, these are adjustable for width when deployed.
