Workshop Foreman, Warren, visited Aristocat 2 Cruises in Monkey Mia, where they're busy laying sandbags to restore Shark Bay’s seagrass meadows.
Seagrass is 270% more effective at absorbing carbon than terrestrial forests, making Shark Bay's meadows the world’s largest marine carbon sink. After a marine heatwave in 2010 wiped out 37% of the seagrass in Shark Bay, the Aristocat 2 team committed themselves to restoring the meadows, in addition to providing dugong and wildlife safaris. Brooks is proud to be donating a telehandler to such a fantastic and necessary cause!
