DUMP TRUCK HIRE
Articulated dump trucks are large, heavy-duty dump trucks that are used to transport loads of rough terrain. These vehicles usually have all wheel drive, and consist of two basic units: the tractor and the trailer section. Steering is carried out by pivoting the front in relation to the back via hydraulic rams. This way, all the wheels of the vehicle follow the same path, making articulated dump trucks a perfect off-road vehicle.
Because they are excellent for hauling material over rough terrain, having been built to handle great inclines and slippery conditions, articulated dump trucks are best used at rugged and cramped sites. They are relatively small, and are usually allowed to be driven between different mine sites at large construction projects.
