A side tipper is a form of dump truck used mainly in the construction industry. Like the conventional dump truck, a side tipper truck is used to transport large quantities of soil, dirt, gravel, rocks and other materials. As its name suggests, the rear platform of a side tipper truck is raised from the side, rather than the front.
