We are a client focused organization providing services to the civil and mining industries. We are currently seeking a Detailer/Yard person to join the Brooks Hire family in Newman, WA.
Please note only local based applicants will be considered.
Responsibilities/duties will include:
- Move and arrange stock around the Workshop.
- Maintenance and assembly of equipment.
- Perform general yard and housekeeping duties
- Detailing and cleaning equipment to the required standards on a tight schedule
- Identify any issues and communicate these with your supervisor
- Ensure all tools and equipment are kept in good working order
- Assisting the tradesmen with various tasks as required
Requirements:
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to work effectively in a small team environment
- Ability to multi-task and prioritise tasks
- Excellent organisation and time management skills
- Current Driver's Licence
- May need to occasionally work weekends/flexible hours
- Previous experience working around heavy duty equipment
- Mechanically minded person that can use hand tools
- Forklift / High risk work licenses desirable
